Wedding Card Printable Cuttable Creatables

Good Morning PCC Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

Today I wanted to walk you through making a wedding card I made with PCC cute files wedding groom tuxedo and wedding dress.  I am trying to get stocked up on my cards and with Summer coming it always seems I need wedding cards.  How about you?

Here is how my card ended up looking like:

With Printable Cuttable Creatables files, IT is so easy to make a card and so quick.

I Started with my base made out of Neenah Solar White from
12 X 12 Cardstock shop.  I cut this at 10 in X  7 In.  I then folded on the 10 in side to 5 in.   and used my bone folder to make sure it was good and folded.  Then I turned the fold on the inside.  This is so you have no pealing or cracking in your fold.

In the mean time I made my svg pieces of the Tuxedo and wedding dress.  Using no shed glitter cardstock for the top layer of the dress, I really liked how the dress came out.

I then used a light gray cut at 5.75 in x 6.75 in to tape down on top of my base.  Taking one more layer , I used the turquoise cardstock  to match the tuxedo and cut a piece at 5.50 in x 6.50 in and taped it on top of the gray cardstock.

Using  Wedding Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C. Designs , I stamped a sentiment on the front and wrapped gray and turquoise ribbon , from my stash, around the card.

Again from C.C. Designs Wedding Sentiments stamp set, I stamped this sentiment on the inside and I called it done.

Once again, here is my finished card:

Easter Top Hat

Hello 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree Fans!  Christi Here from Scrapping for Tranquility with another monthly collaboration with 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree.

With Easter Fast approaching I decided to make one of the Favorite Easter files from Dreaming Tree but change up the colors a bit.  I am made the Mad Hatter Treat Box.

The Cardstock I used from 12 X 12 Cardstock shop was:

I plan on filling it with baked goodies for my elderly neighbor for Easter.  I hope she will enjoy it.

Onto my monthly tip.....Last month I showed you how I store my small scraps so now I am going to show you how I store my large scraps.
0

I have a large binder that has plastic cardstock protectors on the inside.  IT only holds 4 large protectors so I have to double/triple/quadruple up my colors.  (sometimes even more.)

My first protector holds anything 6 inches and above and consist of "like colors" pinks, purples and reds.

My second folder holds the "like colors" of blues, turquoises,  and greens.

Third file holds "like colors" of yellows, oranges and browns.

Last file is my hodge podge  and holds my blacks, whites, scraps of glitter (in zip lock baggies) and foil paper (also in zip lock baggies) this is to keep them from getting damaged by each other.  The baggies are 8 X10 or 12 X 12 Baggies so need to cut up the cardstock more.

Last but not least I have my Pattern paper scraps.  Since I mostly scrapbook and do 3D papercrafts, I usually only buy 12 X 12 cardstock and Pattern paper.  (oh, don't get me wrong, I have a whole lot of 6 X 6 pattern paper and 81/2 X 11 paper also but since I don't use it as much, I have just a baggie that keeps their scraps.  LOL)  Anyway, I have an accordion file that I use to  somewhat separate and file my pattern paper.  I have for example, polka dots, plaid, kids, Christmas, Halloween etc, etc.  lol  The trick is finding an  accordion file that fits 12 X 12 paper in length so not to wrinkle it.  I should be better at labeling it but I am so use to it I can go right to what I need.

That is it for this month!   Next month I will take you on a tour of how I store my actually  cardstock and pattern paper supplies.  IF you all want , I could do a craft room tour.  I do not have a large room but It does the trick.

Until next month!
