No Paper necessary.

I hope you enjoyed my post . Remember to visit everyone in the hop and leave a comment to be eligible for all the prizes.

Baseball Season

Hello friends of Printable Cuttable Creatables!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

With spring here and everyone loving the flowers popping up and the warmer weather, in our household it is T-Ball, Softball and Baseball Season!  we have four seasons here , Winter, (we call it something else but it isn't very nice so I wont repeat it, lol) Baseball season, Swimming Season and Football season.  What does your household do?

I made this layout from the year 2000 when my 29 year old was in T-ball.  But this Mawmaw still goes to all 6 of her grandchildren's games!

Larrisa played on the Tigers that year and their colors were orange and black.  Here is the full layout.

TO decide on my papers I always try to mimic the colors in the pictures , if I can.  I used American Crafts, Black, American Crafts White, Orange paper Frills from Doodle Bug and a Checkered piece of black and gray I had in my stash.

I start off making my paper piecings on my Cameo three, Making sure I have everything I like, in the colors I want.  I made the Happy Baseball from Printable Cuttable Creatables.  I just love all PCC's Files!  They are just so versatile and so much fun to make!

Next up was the Jersey.  I loved this!!!!  Kristin, PRintable cUttable Creatables Creator/owner, Made a front and back to this shirt but you wasn't going to see the back so I made 2 copies of the shirt and made the back visible so you could see what it looks like.  LOVED IT!!!!!

After laying my photos down, Page 2 was now done.

I began page one with taking one of the solid baseballs from one of the files here and made it into a size 5 on my Cameo 3.  This is a background element for my layout.  I then preceded to the crossed bats and ball.

In this photo you can see just a small part of the large element I made for the background with the Crossed Bats and Baseball.

My last piecing I made was the title of Let's Play ball!  I Upsized this 10X it's size for on my cameo it came in sorta small.  You can always resize your pieces if they are not the size you are needing.  Another reason they are so versatile.

Once my pieces were all made I proceeded to layout and tape down my pictures and pieces on page one.

I am very happy with the way it all came out.  Here again is the whole layout:

Thanks for joining me today and I will see you next time!  Leave a message and let me know what your thoughts are or if you have any questions I would be happy to help.

Spring at the Park

Good Morning!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility!  I wanted to share a layout I did with some pretty cute paper piecings from Printable Cuttable Creatables.

Although a two page layout, I am showing you one page at a time, there is a lot to see!  lol

I started with the file Cute Spring Chick and made her, the flowers and grass for the bottom.

Moving up a bit I made the Happy Butterfly and of course with piecing, you have the ability to change all the colors. I did so on my butterfly to match my layout.  I drew in my little flying dots. My title I made on my cameo 3. Last but not least on page one I made the Cute Bumble Bee.

Moving on to page two I made the Happy Caterpillar SVG.  I think he is just sooo darn adorable on his leaf!  I positioned it as the rest of the tree or plant must be off the page.  SOOOOO cute! I then again used the cute Spring Chicks to finish up the page.

The products I used on this project from Printable Cuttable Creatables are :

I hope you enjoy the layout.  Leave me a message and let me know!

Princess Crowns

Hello everyone!  Christi here from Scrapping for Tranquility.

Have you ever heard the saying "a little is a lot"?  That is what I have here today.  I knew I wanted to make something for my Granddaughter-by-proxy's time capsule but wasn't quite sure what.  I knew I wanted some flowers and a cut file of some kind but I didn't want them to over take the page.  Here is what I came up with.

I am sorry if it is hard to read, Pictures did not do it justice.  I used Mirri Pearl White Holographic Cardstock from 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop for the white/silvery letters  and Pink Sapphire Mirri Sparkle Glitter Paper for the other letters.  We were looking for a rose gold effect and the Pink Sapphire was very similar.

The words meant more to her mom and I than the decorations but we wanted to convey she was a girly girl princess for her first birthday's theme is all about  princess'.  That is where these AWESOME Crowns come in!  I used the Prince & Princess Crowns by Printable Cuttable Creatables.

I sized the one at the bottom on my sure cuts a lot and Cameo 3 to a 2 1/2" wide.  It's a nice size crown.

Then downsizing to a 1 1/2" I made the second one which it isn't a lot smaller but it sure appears to be.  HAHA.

I added some Cherry Blossom flowers by Jolee's and called it finished.

The file I used from Printable Cuttable Creatables were: Prince & Princess Crowns

Hope you enjoyed my "Little is a lot" project and realize that even the smallest of cut files can really make your project stand out!  So, the next time you are debating on should I put a piecing on my project remember my "little is a lot" phrase and you won't be sorry!

Leave me a message and let me know what you think!
Blessings,

Easter Egg Hunt

Hello Printable Cuttable Creatable Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I wanted to stop in and share an Easter Scrapbook Layout I did from Easter 2019.  (yeah, I am a little behind!)

This is my finished layout.
I Started with American Crafts Cardstock from 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop.  Made a 3 X 3 inch gride all the way across and down my page.

I chose the title Hunting For Eggs by PCC .  In this layout my granddaughter, Jaelyn is hunting for her Easter Eggs and one photo with my grandson, Lestat.

Then I used the adorable egg set called Easter Eggs in Grass and made all the eggs, changing some colors to go with my layout.

To finish my layout , I used the grass from the Easter Egg in Grass , sized it to 12 inches to fit across my cardstock, and then cut it on my cameo 3.

Again here is my finished layout:

I just love the way it came out and my favorite part is the grass across the bottom.  I wasn't even sure I was going to use that.  Sometimes it is the unexpected are the best ideas!

The Files I used from Printable Cuttable Creatables are:
     1.
Hunting For Eggs

     2.  Easter Eggs in Grass

I hope this layout gives you inspiration for your Easter Layouts!  Let me know by leaving a comment!

Have a wonderful day!

Another Fun Fold-Twisted Easel Card for Printable Cuttable Creatables

Hello!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility on the blog for Printable Cuttable Creatables today to show you another Fun Fold Card.  These seem to be all the rage right now.  At the beginning of the month I showed you three fun Folds and promised I would be back today to give you a tutorial on a fourth.  We are going to do a fairly easy one so you can hop right to starting your Fun folds!

This one is a Twisted Easel Card.  With only a few steps we will master it today on the blog!

Here is what you will need:

1.  A solid base color (my white) cut to 8 1/2 X 4 1/4 and score it at 4 1/4 on the 8 1/2 side.

I will look like this when you are done scoring and folding.

2.  You will also need a piece of 4"  squared pattern paper and another 4" squared pattern paper cut from one corner to the next diagonal.

3.  Score from the top left hand corner to the bottom right hand corner on the left side of the card base. Like shown above.

4.  Using the pattern paper's piece of 4" squared , glue it to the inside of the card.

5.  Take a diagonal piece of pattern paper on the front facing part of the fold.

Here is where I make my paper Piecings I want to use to decorate the card with.  I cut out on my Cameo 3  two different files.

The files I used from Printable Cuttable Creatables are:

     1.Happy St. Patrick's Day Title

       2.St. Patrick's Day Shamrocks

One I had my pieces cut out, I ink my pieces.  That is a preference of mine.  You can do whatever you want.  Some people ink and others do not.

Once I had my card and pieces made and inked, I was ready to assemble my card as I see fit.  This is the front of the card laying flat to mail.

This is my finished product with the twisted easel standing up being held by the title.  I used pop dots to make the title stand a bit to help hold it in the standing position.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and it gives you inspiration to try all the fun folds out there.  If you do , let us or me know !  Post it and let us see!

Happy Crafting!
