Trendy Twine-Easter Paper Treat Bag

Hello Trendy Twine Fans!  Welcome to Scrapping for Tranquility!

I want to share with you a beautiful color of Trendy Twine I think is very fitting for this time of year!  It is called Pink Berry Sorbet.  It is a very gorgeous Tri-Color of Pink, White and Raspberry Twines twisted together.  Perfect for an Easter Project!
Here is what I made:

I made a Paper Treat bag ,svg file by Digi Playground and made an Easter bunny svg by Treasure Box Designs.  I wrapped the middle of the bag with Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine to really set this off.  I then filled it with Starburst all- Red- Jelly beans.

This will be a hit with my 3 year old granddaughter, Jaelyn.  I hope you all enjoy it and pick up some Pinkberry Sorbet while it is on sale right now!
Here again is what I used by Trendy Twine

Thank you for joining me and I will see you again next month!

Lestat's First Christmas

Good Afternoon!  I wanted to share a layout I did of my grandson, Lestat's First Christmas in 2015.  I did this following a sketch For DCWV March Sketch Challenge.  Here is the Sketch:

Here is my Take on the Sketch:

I started with AC cardstock, but then used the DCWV, Watercolor Stack and the Sweet and Sassy Stack.  I used my Cameo to cut My Title , journaling , tags, and circle out.

I am very pleased how it came out and hope you like it.  The challenge has turned to a a vote challenge so please follow the link above I posted and find my layout and please like it.  The more likes I have goes as a vote for me.  Thank you!

Have a blessed day!

Cutting Cafe - 21st Blog Post

Hello to all the Cutting Cafe Fans!  It's the 21st  and time for another blog post and this time it was to be a Easter File!  I love Easter!

I chose the file Bunny Poop.  This is such a fun and cute file!

I made these for my 4 grandchildren for Easter and hope you enjoy what I did with the file.

I used the Bunny cut window of the file which there is a oval shaped window to use and 2 separate cards also.
I then Used some Easter card stock I had on hand to cut the pillow box on my Cameo.  From there I Covered the window in Acetate.

I made the card with the cute Bunny Poop Poem and then filled the pillow box with "Gobbers".  (For those that don't know, Gobbers are chocolate covered peanuts.)

I topped the boxes off with a pretty bow to match.

I hope you enjoyed my Easter project for The Cutting Cafe and I will see you again on April 7th!

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my project!

Without further ado here is what I made for the Birthday hop!

First, I am still working on last years albums for my grandbabies so I just finished my youngest grandson Lestat's 1st birthday layout.

I always want to try something different for their first birthday and this I did.  I made him a cake out of Cardstock!  (AC CARDSTOCK, Of course!)  I cut them at 10 inches, 8 inches and 6 inches.  Then I took a Halloween blood dripping border and made it into my icing dripping off the cake.  Then taking a small piece of  stripped cardstock I rolled it to make the candle and cut out the flame on my cameo.  I embellished the cake the way I felt necessary and I was done.  Lestat's Pictures were professionally taken for his first birthday and these black and white ones fit just perfect!

Here is some close up's

Now, He has made it through his first year and we are almost to his 2nd year and we are planning his 2nd birthday .  His favorite thing is watching "Finding Dory".  MaMaw couldn't help but make his birthday invitations for him and here they are:

I of course used all AC cardstock and Made the Dory SVG.  I also made up the saying You're "o-Fish-ally invited" to match .  The background SVG's are from the sea princess svg file by Marjorie Ann Designs.    By the time I was done laying all those letters on each invite....I didnt want to see another until....probably next year!  HAHAHAHA!

I hope you enjoyed my projects!  Please leave me a comment!

Blessings!

The Cutting Cafe March 7th Post /Mason Jar Shaped Card

Good Afternoon!  It is that time again for the Wonderful  Blog Post for The Cutting Cafe!  I just love working with Regina's files!  Sometimes they are just easy and relaxing and other times Challenging .  Challenging only because I try sooo hard to think of something different to do.  I hope I accomplished that this week.

We were to make something from 3 different sets .  The Mason Jar Shaped Set , Fun with Jars Set or Jar Shaped Card Set.  I choose The Mason Jar Shaped Set.    Here is my project:

First I made the flower set which is not really suppose to be a shaker card but I decided to go the distance and make it into one.  I used Doddle Bug Hello Sunshine
6X6 Paper Pad and AC Cardstock to make the card.  Of Course Acetate Window , Martha Stewart Sequins and gems .  The lady bug is a cut file from Little Scraps Of Heaven Designs called Ladybugs and Daisies.  It is an adorable file.  To Top the whole file off I used Watermelon Taffy by TRENDY TWINE.

Here is a side view of the card:

I really liked how this card turned out and hope you did also.  Please leave me a comment and let me know!

Blessings,
