Trendy Twine February Guest DT

Hello! Stopping in to share my last post as February's  Guest designer for  Trendy Twine.  I sure am going to miss it greatly!  Lesley and the ladies are truly among the greatest crafters and sweetest to work with, in the crafting industry.

My last project is a simple card .  I like to make up non sentiment cards to have around so if I need a card in a hurry all I have to do is pick a sentiment and add it quickly and off I go.  That is what I did with this card.  Here it is:

I picked springy colors with my AC Cardstock. I made a paper piecing from Cuddly Cute Designs called Spring Elfkin and then of course it wouldn't be finished without my beautiful Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine to top it off!  So many uses for this card!  Birthday, Easter, Thinking of you, Miss you, Love you and on and on.

I hope you enjoyed my card!   Here is what I used from Trendy Twine:

February Trendy Twine Guest Designer-Hey That is me!

Hello Scrapping For Tranquility Fans!    It is always such an honor to  post for Lesley and Trendy Twine Gals.  They all do such fine work and come up with the cutest ideas with such beautiful twine, don't you think?  I only hope I showcase The twine as well as they do.

Speaking of....Here is my second project for this month:

I have numerous friends that are coffee lovers even though I am not fond of it myself.  (  I love hot tea or Hot coco.)  Many times I want to thank them for a job well done or for just a small token of my appreciation and didn't want to just hand them a regular ol' card.  and this is what I came up with.

At Trendy Twine & Annie Paper Boutique  Lesley  has these awesome little mini Coffee Cups with lids!  You can do soooo many fun things with them!  I happen to make a fun holder and cup wrap for mine with this AWESOME SVG file from The Cutting Cafe.  This is SVG  comes with a single or double holder and can be found here:MINI COFFEE CUP WRAP SET .  Then,  At Trendy Twine and Annies Paper Boutique you can also get the CUTEST Wooden Spoons and decorate the handle. I used Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine  for my handle , then stuck it in the lid!  Wrap some more Trendy Twine around the outside of the cup and and a sentiment of any kind .  I filled my cup with Hersey's kisses instead of coffee , put the lid on and now my friend has a beautiful little "thanks a-latte!" from me!

Whatever the occasion, isn't this a fun alternative to a regular greeting card?   Have fun with it!

Come over to my blog here:Scrapping For Tranquility for more ideas and links to my svg's for the cup holder.

Here is what I used from Trendy Twine/Annie's Paper

I would love to hear from you!  Leave me a message and let me know what you think!

February 2018 Guest Designer for Trendy Twine

Hello Scrapping for Tranquility Fans! Excited to be Guest designer for another term at Trendy Twine!

Today I want to share these adorable  Kraft Window Boxes and beautiful  Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine that are on special this month.

Here is what I did with them:

First I took the  Kraft Window Box  and measured it and made an SVG to match out of it to cut my cardstock to cover the box.  Glued the  AC Crimson Cardstock from  12x12 Cardstock Shop ,on the box.  Wrapped the  Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine several times around the right side of the box and let it hang loose.  I glued a large heart shaped button onto the box and then a small heart shaped button on top of the large one.  Filled the box with Starburst candy.
I then made a tag in my Cameo 3 , putting a superhero burst to represent the burst in "starburst". cut out the  heart and lettering and glued them down and tied my pretty little  Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine  on my tag and called it done!

I have made 3 more of these for my grandchildren for Valentine treats  and hope you can do the same.

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Cutting Cafe Valentine's Shaped Cards

Hello!  It is the 7th of the month and another Cutting Cafe post!  We are doing the Valentine's Shaped cards.  Boy are they fun!  I choose the Hugs and Kisses Shaped Card and the Hershey Kiss Window Box for my project.  Here they are!

I used AC Cardstock, Black for the base of the card and Cotton Candy For the Lips and bottom of the Hershey box bottom.  I used Authentique Valentine Collection, Polka Dot for the card and the Top of the Hershey Box Top.
I then used Heat set rhinestones on the card on every 3rd letter .  Topped off the Hershey box with this months special of Twine over at Trendy Twine called Strawberry Cupcake and called it done!

Hope you enjoyed my project today!  Leave me a message and let me know what you think!

Thank you for stopping in!

Blessings!
