TGIF!  Are you ready for the weekend?  I am I am at a 2 day crop today and tomorrow!  I am loving my weekend!  I wanted to share with you a layout I did of my 9 year old grandson, James when he was a year and a half.  He use to love to to take a bath then cuddle in his towel afterwards till he fell asleep.  Here he is waiting for me.  :)  I miss those days!

I used the files, Snips and Snails , Snuggle Palz Dog and Coloring Fun by Cuddly Cute Designs. It was fun to make and I enjoyed reminiscing while doing it.

Thanks for stopping by and Please leave me a comment!

Here is what I decided to make for the hop:

I made an easel card out of American Crafts solid Cardstock.  The chevron paper is from Paper Studio, Hobby Lobby.  The paper Piecing file is by Too Cute By Jessica and the file is Get Well Soon.

I like to use my sentiment as my "easel stand" by pop dotting it up , as you can see here.

With some inking and chalking around my paper piecing , then putting them on the card.  I am pretty much done.  A fast and easy card.

I hope you enjoyed my Get Well Soon Project .  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Blessings,

Up next is the talented Michelle

Cutting Cafe- EVERYDAY WORD WINDOWS & SHAKERS SET 1

Hi Cutting Cafe Fans!  It's that time again!  The 7th of the month and time for another The Cutting Cafe post!  I know I look forward to them!  This month we are featuring the EVERYDAY WORD WINDOWS & SHAKERS SET 1.  This set you can buy as a full set of 5 or individually .  They come in Baby, HB, Happy Word, Love Word and Sweet Word.  Soooo many fun things you can do with this set!

Here is what I chose to use and do with it:

I used the Love word file and choose the horizontal card base.  I used all Solid American Crafts Textured Cardstock with some Valentine Pattern paper I had in my stash.  The paper piecing  I made on my Cameo and is a file from Cuddly Cute  called  Cupid Cuties.   The sequins are from Annie's Paper Boutique and is called Frosted Cranberry Sequins with a sprinkle of Star glitter from Martha Stewart.

I really love the way it all came together and hope you found some inspiration in my card.

I hope to see you again on the 21st of February for another The Cutting Cafe Blog Post.

Blessings,
