Trendy Twine-Happy New Year

Happy New Years Eve Everyone!  I want to share with you a project I did for Trendy Twine for New Years!  Everyone on the team did a super project so please stop over to Trendy Twines Blog  for all the links and to check out all the beautiful projects from these talented ladies!

Now onto my project....

I made an alarm clock representing the clock for New Years.  The clock is a cutting file and digital stamp file from The Cutting Cafe.

I used AC Cardstock for the solids , AC Cardstock glitter paper and Then DCWV red foil cardstock.  (Which is VERY hard to take a photo of with the numbers printed on them.  I tried daylight and night time flash so excuse the terrible pictures)

To top the card off , what is better than Totally White Trendy Twine and Totally Red Trendy Twine in a cute little bow around the neck of the clock?  I love the way Trendy Twine just sets all my projects off!

I am very pleased how it turned out and hope you find some inspiration in some or all my project.

Here is the items I used from

Trendy Twine-Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I wanted to share my Final December Guest DT post for Trendy Twine with you.
It is a quick and easy Christmas decoration using the Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and the Frosted Cranberry Sequins.

I made a Christmas tree by wrapping the Trendy Twine around a round ,triangle, foam form.  For the "ornaments" I used the Frosted Cranberry Sequins stuck on with pearl-head straight pins.  To top the tree off I bought a gold star and painted it with blue acrylic paint and stuck it on top.

I am really pleased how it turned out and hope you enjoy it too.

Here is the products I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Cutting Cafe- 2017 Resolution Journal

Hello!  For our project for The Cutting Cafe this time , we had to make something with a 2017 file for New Years.  This is what I decided to make.

I made a New Years Resolutions Journal.  For the Cover I used the 2017 Background Printable Set.   The journal is to be used almost like a planner /journal where you write your resolutions in it.  Monthly you will write about how you are doing with your resolutions, keep memorabilia, take photos and such.

Here is an example of January. I left plenty of room to add stamps, cutting files and anything else I wanted to add just like you do in a planner. What I have added is the month, Journaling For The Holidays Printable Stamp Set, which I made into a picture mat to add a picture and also the Bigger Between The Lines Printable Stamp Set for my journaling box.

February , I added Pocket Planner Add On again with the tag made into a picture mat.

Just my last example.  I will not bore you with every month.  But they all are a little different.

I hope this inspires you to make your own New Years Resolution Journal to help you this year.

Thank you for joining me for another wonderful The Cutting Cafe blog post and I will see you on the 7th of January for the next!

Blessings,

Please leave me a comment , I love hearing from you!  I will respond!

Trendy Twine-Snowman Card

Frosty the Snowman was a jolly happy soul! That is how I feel about my card I made for Trendy Twine this week!  I want you to think .....Frosty.....Frost.....Frosted....Yeah that is it!  Frosted!

It all started with this adorable SVG Vintage snowman from Little Scraps of Heaven.   I just adored him !  I thought what would look better with him but Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and this beautiful paper my dear friend Beth sent me?

First I layered American Crafts Cardstock with the gorgeous Pattern paper that was given to me .  I then Took the Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and wrapped it around the top 4 layers and tied it in a bow , making sure that it was at an angle and crossed over itself each time.  I added a small tag to it before adding the bow to add a special name to whoever you decide to give it to.  (I have not done this yet)

I then added the SVG of Frosty and slipped him behind the twine. To top it off  what better look than Frosted Cranberry Sequins that is a perfect ending to a Frosty.....Frosted......Song....I mean Card!  LOL  I added three to the top right corner of the card.

I would love it if you would stop by Trendy Twine's blog today and visit them and me and leave is a message at:Trendy Twine

1st Post as a new DT Member for Cutting Cafe!

Hi Folks!  I wanted you all to know I am now a new DT member for Cutting Cafe.  I am sooooo VERY excited and hope you all are as excited as I am.  Regina makes AWESOME files and Digital stamps, PDF's , Templates and so many other types of files! You just need to stop over to The Cutting Cafe and check it out for yourself!

Ok,  On to my project.....we were to use a can or jar and upcycle it using Cutting Cafe files.  Since I am raising my grandchildren and one of them just outgrew baby food , it was pretty easy for me to decide what kind of jar I was going to use .....BABY FOOD JARS!  I have them coming out my ears! I never wanted to  throw them away for you can always use them to craft with right?  LOL    I decided I was going to make small votive/tea light candle holders.

First I used Cutting Cafe's  Christmas Basic Shapes Cutting files and made these adorable wreaths to fit around the bottom of the Jars.  I then made the snowflake and glued it on the side and put a little red rhinestone in the middle of the snowflake.   To finish it off I took some Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine  and glued it around the rim.  I used battery operated tea lights in mine since I have little ones in the house but  you can use regular tea lights or votive candles.

Here is what it looks like in the dark.

Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to many more posts with Cutting Cafe!

Please leave me a comment I will answer you back and let me know what you think!

Blessings,
