Wedding Card Printable Cuttable Creatables

Good Morning PCC Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

Today I wanted to walk you through making a wedding card I made with PCC cute files wedding groom tuxedo and wedding dress.  I am trying to get stocked up on my cards and with Summer coming it always seems I need wedding cards.  How about you?

Here is how my card ended up looking like:

With Printable Cuttable Creatables files, IT is so easy to make a card and so quick.

I Started with my base made out of Neenah Solar White from
12 X 12 Cardstock shop.  I cut this at 10 in X  7 In.  I then folded on the 10 in side to 5 in.   and used my bone folder to make sure it was good and folded.  Then I turned the fold on the inside.  This is so you have no pealing or cracking in your fold.

In the mean time I made my svg pieces of the Tuxedo and wedding dress.  Using no shed glitter cardstock for the top layer of the dress, I really liked how the dress came out.

I then used a light gray cut at 5.75 in x 6.75 in to tape down on top of my base.  Taking one more layer , I used the turquoise cardstock  to match the tuxedo and cut a piece at 5.50 in x 6.50 in and taped it on top of the gray cardstock.

Using  Wedding Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C. Designs , I stamped a sentiment on the front and wrapped gray and turquoise ribbon , from my stash, around the card.

Again from C.C. Designs Wedding Sentiments stamp set, I stamped this sentiment on the inside and I called it done.

Once again, here is my finished card:

Easter Top Hat

Hello 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree Fans!  Christi Here from Scrapping for Tranquility with another monthly collaboration with 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree.

With Easter Fast approaching I decided to make one of the Favorite Easter files from Dreaming Tree but change up the colors a bit.  I am made the Mad Hatter Treat Box.

The Cardstock I used from 12 X 12 Cardstock shop was:

I plan on filling it with baked goodies for my elderly neighbor for Easter.  I hope she will enjoy it.

Onto my monthly tip.....Last month I showed you how I store my small scraps so now I am going to show you how I store my large scraps.
0

I have a large binder that has plastic cardstock protectors on the inside.  IT only holds 4 large protectors so I have to double/triple/quadruple up my colors.  (sometimes even more.)

My first protector holds anything 6 inches and above and consist of "like colors" pinks, purples and reds.

My second folder holds the "like colors" of blues, turquoises,  and greens.

Third file holds "like colors" of yellows, oranges and browns.

Last file is my hodge podge  and holds my blacks, whites, scraps of glitter (in zip lock baggies) and foil paper (also in zip lock baggies) this is to keep them from getting damaged by each other.  The baggies are 8 X10 or 12 X 12 Baggies so need to cut up the cardstock more.

Last but not least I have my Pattern paper scraps.  Since I mostly scrapbook and do 3D papercrafts, I usually only buy 12 X 12 cardstock and Pattern paper.  (oh, don't get me wrong, I have a whole lot of 6 X 6 pattern paper and 81/2 X 11 paper also but since I don't use it as much, I have just a baggie that keeps their scraps.  LOL)  Anyway, I have an accordion file that I use to  somewhat separate and file my pattern paper.  I have for example, polka dots, plaid, kids, Christmas, Halloween etc, etc.  lol  The trick is finding an  accordion file that fits 12 X 12 paper in length so not to wrinkle it.  I should be better at labeling it but I am so use to it I can go right to what I need.

That is it for this month!   Next month I will take you on a tour of how I store my actually  cardstock and pattern paper supplies.  IF you all want , I could do a craft room tour.  I do not have a large room but It does the trick.

Until next month!

Good Morning!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility here with another collaboration post with 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop  and Dreaming Tree.  I don't know about you but I get soooo excited to bring the two together every month!  12 X 12 has the best cardstock and Dreaming Tree has the best 3D SVG's so it is one of my highlights every month to do a special file for you all!

This month, with Mother's Day fast approaching, (Do you believe it is February already?) we decided to  make 2 of the 3 items from the Ladies Only SVG Bundle .

Here is the cardstock I used from 12 X 12 Cardstock shop:

I decided to take on the hat and stand first.  This is called a Fascinator Jewelry Tray .  I started off and was going to use some beautiful Floral Cardstock for this but my Cameo is on it's last leg and it skipped a beat and cut wrong so I decided to do it all in the plaid.  I really loved how it came out.

Next I made the Blooming Bag.

This doubles as a gift box or even for a gift card.  Again, I was really happy with the way it came out also.  If you take a closer look you will see I put Pearls by Encore , that we carry, in the loops of the Gold Lace.  I had in my stash these bluish butterflies and thought they set everything off well so I put them on the bows of the Hat and purse.

Here is a look at them both:

I hope you enjoyed our collaboration this month and I will see you again next month!

TV Watching

Good Morning PPC Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.
I want to share a layout of my youngest grandson, Lachlan, when he was just over a year old, watching his favorite Educational programs.  He so loved those shows.

If I allowed him to, he could stand in one place for hours .  LOL  Finally I got him to sit down by lowering him manually to the ground.  LOL

When I noticed he was in the onsie t-shirt, I just had to make the Sweet Baby Boy Banner Set.  It is also Onsie t-shirts and comes in a girl version also.  I just thought this was the cutest thing!  I decided to go with the pastels of baby colors since , in my eyes, he was still a baby at just over a year.

Next using the Baby Blocks Capital Alphabet Set & the Baby Blocks Lowercase Alphabet Set, I spelled his name out on the side.

Under my photos I made a doily set from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Here is a 2nd look at my project completed:

I enjoy making layouts for all my family and Printable Cuttable Creatables helps me do just that by supply my paper piecing in all my needs.  Come take a look!

The Files I used from Printable Cuttable Creatables are as follows:

Leave me a message and let me know what you think or if you have any questions.  I will be happy to get back to you!

Blessings,

Grandparents Day For Jaelyn

Good Morning !  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility here with a fun layout I did of my granddaughter on Grandparents Day.

Jaelyn was thrilled her Great-great grandparents came, my mom and dad, so I took a lot of photos.  I am very glad I did for this was the last Grandparents day they would attend.

I started off wanting to use the Lil Crayons Pencils Banners for the colors  I could match them with the Grandparents frame they were holding.  Then I decided to find a small enough font to make it my title.

From there I also knew I wanted to use the One Smart Cookie SVG for Jaelyn's teacher had made that her theme for her class that year.

When said and done, I was very happy with the layout and how much it memorialized so many things that were important that day.  That is what scrapbooking is really all about isn't it?

Have a blessed day and leave me a message and let me know why you scrapbook.

Hello PCC Fans!  Christi Here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

Here as promised to show you how I make a twisted or side easel card.

Here is the birthday or celebration one I made for today.

you want to start with a 81/2 in X 4 1/4 IN piece of card stock.

Taking the piece of cardstock you just cut and score it at 4 1/4 in.

using a pattern paper you want to cut 2, 4 IN squares.  One for the base of your card and one for the back top of your card.  This is the side that will be folding over.

The one on the back of the card needs to be cut from corner to corner.

You want to score from the top right to bottom left  of the top of the card. you have now made your fold over for your easel card.

Taking anything to do with your card , in my case was the presents, and pop them up with pop dots and that will hold your easel card up.

Again here is the finished product:

I really am happy with the way this turned out.  I hope you enjoy it also!
