Cutting Cafe-April 7th- Notepad

It is that time again!  Time for my  The Cutting Cafe post  for the first part of the month.  I missed last month for being ill.  I am back and I can tell you I really missed these challenges!

Regina, challenged us to take a shaped card this month and turn it into a notepad.  This is what I choose and what I did  and I hope you like it....

I used the Fish Shaker Card.  I kept it as a shaker card part for I really liked it as a shaker .

I used Under The Sea Collection by Doodle Bug Designs for the pattern Cardstock and AC Cardstock for the solids.  I then used Printer paper as my Notebook paper for inside.  My adhesive was Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, E-Z Runner Grand.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment on what you think!

February Trendy Twine Guest Designer-Hey That is me!

Hello Scrapping For Tranquility Fans!    It is always such an honor to  post for Lesley and Trendy Twine Gals.  They all do such fine work and come up with the cutest ideas with such beautiful twine, don't you think?  I only hope I showcase The twine as well as they do.

Speaking of....Here is my second project for this month:

I have numerous friends that are coffee lovers even though I am not fond of it myself.  (  I love hot tea or Hot coco.)  Many times I want to thank them for a job well done or for just a small token of my appreciation and didn't want to just hand them a regular ol' card.  and this is what I came up with.

At Trendy Twine & Annie Paper Boutique  Lesley  has these awesome little mini Coffee Cups with lids!  You can do soooo many fun things with them!  I happen to make a fun holder and cup wrap for mine with this AWESOME SVG file from The Cutting Cafe.  This is SVG  comes with a single or double holder and can be found here:MINI COFFEE CUP WRAP SET .  Then,  At Trendy Twine and Annies Paper Boutique you can also get the CUTEST Wooden Spoons and decorate the handle. I used Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine  for my handle , then stuck it in the lid!  Wrap some more Trendy Twine around the outside of the cup and and a sentiment of any kind .  I filled my cup with Hersey's kisses instead of coffee , put the lid on and now my friend has a beautiful little "thanks a-latte!" from me!

Whatever the occasion, isn't this a fun alternative to a regular greeting card?   Have fun with it!

Come over to my blog here:Scrapping For Tranquility for more ideas and links to my svg's for the cup holder.

Here is what I used from Trendy Twine/Annie's Paper

I would love to hear from you!  Leave me a message and let me know what you think!

Blessings,

Cutting Cafe-Christmas Photo Booth Props

Hello Scrapping For Tranquility Fans and Cutting Cafe Fans!  Christmas is getting near and everyone is gearing up for all those Christmas parties.  My youngest daughter has a group of friends that they have been friends since they were wee ones and now that they are all grown and married with their own wee ones, they have an annual Christmas get together .

I thought for their get together ,this Saturday, it would be fun to set up a Christmas photo booth with photo props for them.  Now how fun will that be????  They haven't taken a lot of pictures together since high school when they were called , (ready for this)  the "rubber ducky clan"!  So , here is what I made them from The Cutting Cafe

First I started with the file Christmas Photo Booth Props Cutting Files.  I made the Santa group up Using all AC Card stock.  Highlighting with Nuvo Drops and a white gel pen, I made the HOHOHO, Square glasses , Santa Hat and white beard and mustache.

Here I made the Snowman set props with AC Card stock.  I accented with Nuvo drops, Stickles and black and white gel pens on the pipe, Carrot, top hat, bow tie and round glasses.

Here is what I call the Kiss me set .  I used Glossy Accents to make my lips look like they have lip gloss on them and Used Stickles  on the holly and Kiss me to accent.

The decorations I used Foil card stock along with Nuvo drops to highlight them.

2 different mustaches are included in the set.

Reindeer nose and antlers are also included which I made into Rudolph !

Last but not least but a beautiful snowflake!  I again used Stickles to highlight this!

WOW!  There is a lot included in this set of cutting files!  But boy will the "rubber duckies" have fun this Saturday in their photo booth and make lots of memories!

Thanks for joining me for another Cutting Cafe post and leave me a message and let me know what you think!

Snow Globe-Cutting Cafe August 8th Post

Good Morning SFT and Cutting Cafe Fans!  I want to share a "Christmas in August" project I have for you!

Regina , the owner of The Cutting Cafe, wanted us to make a Christmas project, since we only post twice a month and missed "Christmas in July".

Here is what I chose:

This card you can purchase a lone or in a set of 9 other shaped Shakers for $6.50!  What a deal!

For my sentiment I used a sentiment from the Snowman Family Shaped Card.
I thought it fit just perfect with the "snow" theme.

How I made this card is, I used AC cardstock for my base,  Then used printed cardstock from DCWV Winter Stack.  I wanted this to glisten a lot like snow so I used a lightly, covered, white , glitter cardstock for the inside of the globe.  For the frame I used a VERY shimmery silver from DVWV's Halloween Cardstock .

For my shaker, I used some different shades of blue sequence set I had in my stash.  Then added sterling silver micro beads by Martha Stewart and Silver Spark Tinsel by American Crafts .  I mixed the 3 together and I really love the way  it turned out.  The little lines on my glode is the tinsels pieces .

To top it off, I used some Blue Berry Trendy Twine.
I just dont feel a project is complete without my Trendy Twine!

Thank you for joining me today at Scrapping For Tranquility.

Until the next time,

Blessings,

Christi

Now , How gorgeous is this?  It will just make you smile no matter what kind of mood  you might be in.  I used Watercolour pencils to color in the flowers on white cardstock.

Cutting Cafe-Pinwheel Birthday Card

Hello Scrapping For Tranquility and Cutting Cafe Fans!  Today I wanted to share with you this ADORABLE file from The Cutting Cafe.  It is called the PINWHEEL TREAT CUP TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE.  There is soooo many uses and things you can make with this file but here is what I decided to do with it:

I am running low on birthday cards in my stash so I decided on a birthday card.  I can not take full credit for it though for I found a similar card on Pinterest.  I want to give credit to the artist but my grandson hit my keyboard and cleared the screen and I could never re-find it.  So if anyone does find a similar card and CAN give me the artist and link please do .  I like to always give credit where credit is due.
Anyhow, I used all AC cardstock along with AC double sided printed cardstock.  I loved the summery colors of this print.  I then used The Cutting Cafe's MASON JAR SHAPED CARD TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE to cut the jar .  I used Pink and mains Pretty Princess Happy Birthday stamp for the sentiment and Pink and Main's  Stitched Greeting Dies for the banner.  For the embossing I used a  Cuttlebug 5X7 flower embossing folder.

Thank you for joining me today and I will see you again on the 21st for another Cutting Cafe post!

Blessings!

Cutting Cafe - 21st Blog Post

Hello to all the Cutting Cafe Fans!  It's the 21st  and time for another blog post and this time it was to be a Easter File!  I love Easter!

I chose the file Bunny Poop.  This is such a fun and cute file!

I made these for my 4 grandchildren for Easter and hope you enjoy what I did with the file.

I used the Bunny cut window of the file which there is a oval shaped window to use and 2 separate cards also.
I then Used some Easter card stock I had on hand to cut the pillow box on my Cameo.  From there I Covered the window in Acetate.

I made the card with the cute Bunny Poop Poem and then filled the pillow box with "Gobbers".  (For those that don't know, Gobbers are chocolate covered peanuts.)

I topped the boxes off with a pretty bow to match.

I hope you enjoyed my Easter project for The Cutting Cafe and I will see you again on April 7th!

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my project!
