My Scrap Chick-Easter Chick Bundle

Happy Sunday!  I wanted to share with you an adorable SVG set from My Scrap Chick.  It is called the Easter Chick Bundle.  Wow, is this soooo cuuuuttee!  Just love this!  I loved it sooo much I broke the set up for 2 of my grandchildren's Easter layouts from 2017.  Here they are:

This one is for my 2 year old grandson, Lestat.  I thought it was perfect for all the photos I had.  Whimsical, just like him!

This one is for my 3 year old granddaughter, Jaelyn,  just dainty enough for her girlishness that she projects.  I was really happy with this also!

Here is all the paper pieces up close:

Now, If you would like to see them with the pictures here is what they would look like:

Clifty Falls Layout

Hello Scrapping For Tranquility Fans!  Sorry it has been a while. My computer crashed and I had to save a bit to shell out the money for a new one.  (new to me, Refurbished one to anyone else.  LOL)

I want to share a layout of our small vacation we took last year to Clifty Falls State Park, here in Indiana.  We are in Northern Indiana and Clifty Falls is at the very bottom, west next to Kentucky and Ohio.  It is a VERY beautiful part of the state.

What made me decide to do this layout is I found this wonderful sketch on Let's Scrap sketch challenges and couldn't pass it up and thought I would not only scrap my wonderful photos but enter it into the contest.  Here is the sketch:

Of course I have tons of photos from the trip so first I had to decide which photos I wanted to use and from what part of the trip.  Once that was done I wanted to choose the card stock to use.    First let me show you my completed layout:

For all my solid textured card stock I always use AC Textured Card stock.  That is my go to card stock.  Then I had to choose what would go nicely with my photos in a print.  I found this beautiful plaid left over from an  Echo Park Paper Kit  called This & That.  I loved that kit and I just had remnants left and thought it would go great with this layout.  (Echo Park is my favorite Kit company also!)

I made my border, signs, and title on my cameo and that is about it.

I hope you enjoyed my layout and stop by Let's Scrap and check out their challenges!

Blessings!

I decided to make a layout of my youngest grandson, Lestat's first Easter egg hunt, last year.

He was just learning to walk for he was only born 2 days before Easter, the year before, but he had a blast!  I used Echo Park's, Happy Easter Collection Kit for the Plaid paper and of course, AC Cardstock for my solids.

My paper piecing are by Treasure Box Designs , My First Easter Collection.  I used colors of cardstock for my piecings to match Lestat's little suit he was wearing.  I then inked all my piecings before putting them together.

The title that came with the collection was My First Easter .  I used my Scal 4 pro to alter it and add Egg Hunt to the title. I Added my photos and I was finished.  I still have many more photos I would love to scrap from that day so another layout will be in the near future!  lol  Hope you enjoy this one and it inspires you to scrap your Easter photos!

Happy Easter!

Blessings,
