Togetherish Sort of a Day

Happy Tuesday!  I wanted to stop in and share a layout I did using the Togetherish Sort of Day file from Cuddly Cute Designs.

This is my youngest grandson, Lestat when he was 3 months and I am doing his first year book in Winnie the pooh.  This is what his room is so I am doing his book the same.

Here is some close ups of the layout.

Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week and thank you for stopping by!

Military Bears take 2!

Good Morning Tranquility Fans!  Thank you for joining me again  today to see the second part of my Military bears from Cuddly Cute Designs!  I just love these beautiful bears for all kinds of things but I mainly love them for thank you cards for our men and woman coming home from serving.  In my last post I showed you the first two branches so without further ado here is the next two.

This one I made into a panel like card and lined the words up on each panel.  Let me tell you , this was not an easy task.  LOL  I have not quit conquered it all the way so don't look too close!  HAHAHA!   I inked my pieces, die cutted a panel for my thank you and cut the thank you on my cameo.  I  used all AC cardstock and there it is.  I hope you like it.

Card #2

This was a pure and simple card.  The Military Bears file also comes with these large stars.  I just made my 5X7 card added the patterned paper , turned it sideways put my pieces on after I inked them.  I also die cutted the plate that the thank you's on and cut the Thank you from my cameo.  That was it.  I again used All AC cardstock.  Really a simply but nice card.

I hope I inspired you today whether it be to try a little bit of a harder design like the first one or a simple design like the second.  All that matters is the love and the message that goes into the card.

Blessings,

Military Bears OH MY! / DT Announcement!

Hello to Tranquility Fans!  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend this past Memorial day!  In honor of all our fallen, active, retired and VETS I wanted to make these ADORABLE Cards to Thank anyone coming home.  The file is from Cuddle Cute Designs  which is now where I am a Design Team member and Loving it!  Stop by their Facebook page sometime and see all the wonderful work the other DT's do!  You will find it here:Cuddle Cute FB Page.

  Ok, Onto my cards!
Here is the first one.  I embossed the background with a star folder and used ribbon and twine for the top.  Then I used a set of dies to make the plate for the Thank you and cut the Thank you on my cameo.  Again the Bear is from Cuddle Cute .  I inked him up and pieced him together and I used all  AC Cardstock.  The only Cardstock I will use.  LOVE IT!

Card #2

Pretty Much did the exact same thing to this one just a little different style.  Same embossing folder for the background same die set for the plate just a different die and cut a different font on my cameo.  Different Ribbon and twine.  All AC Cardstock of course.

I made 2 more for the other 2 military branches but those will be posted on another day.

I hope you enjoy these and hope to see you soon!

Blessings,

Guest DT For Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon

Good Morning!  I am sooo honored to be Guest DT AGAIN for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon!  I just love their cute files!  Lisa does such an AWESOME job!

On to my project!   Here is what I created:

I made this layout of my daughter, Larrisa's , 21st birthday.  She was born on Cinco De Mayo.
We have always taken her to a Mexican restaurant for her birthday, since she was little.  She use to think that they were having huge birthday parties just for her!

Here is a closer look at page 1:

A Closer look at page 2:

Here are the Wonderful PPPR Files I used  to make this layout possible:

Mexican Food file                              Pinata File                                        Fiesta File

I hope you enjoyed my project and Thank you to Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon for having me!

Here is my first project :

I made a gate fold card for Mothers's Day.

The whole file is from Treasure Box Designs, and the file can be found here:Beeutiful Card.

Behind the bee's head is where you will find the tag to write the message you want to give to your BEEUTIFUL
Mother.

My next Card I made is :

A Ba-bee Shower card.  Again the bee file is from Treasure Box Designs but the design is all mine.
The Bee is a Stuffy Pals Bee with a pacifier from the Chubbies Baby Boy.

Both my cards are made from AC (American Cardstock) Cardstock.  The bee paper is Adorn it, the Bee Happy Collection.  The Yellow pattern paper is a stack by DCWV along with the Green Gingham.  Ribbon is from Mays Arts and the buttons from Jesse James.  I used a Sizzix Embossing folder to emboss along with my Silhouette Cameo for Cutting.

I hope you enjoyed both my projects thanks for joining me!
