Christmas Layout with Printable Cuttable Creatables

Welcome Printable Cuttable Creatables Fans!  Christi here, once again, from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I am stopping in to show you another family, Christmas layout, using all these wonderful files from Printable Cuttable Creatables.

I started with American Crafts Cardstock  in Crimson Red and Evergreen from 12 x 12 Cardstock Shop.  Then pulling in some pattern paper from Photo Play's Mad 4 Plaid Christmas Collection.

Once I had all my Cardstock pulled together I started on my paper piecing.  First, the Elves.  I made the  Cute Girl Elf SVG File.

The second paper Piecing I made was the Cute Boy Elf SVG File. These little elves went perfectly with my grandchildren's Christmas PJ's for they were elves this year also.

Up next was the Cute Santa Claus SVG file.  He is just so stinkin' adorable!  Who couldn't resist Santa?

Last but not least was Cute Mrs. Claus SVG File.  She just looks right at home ready to bake and cook Christmas dinner for everyone.

When I was finished with my pieces, I started to assemble my pages.  This is my left side.

Along with the left side I put the title I made on my Cameo 3.

For the finale,  here is the right side of my layout.
I am real happy how it all turned out.

I hope you got some inspiration for your Christmas photos.  Leave me a comment and let me know!

Candy Cane Layout featuring Printable Cuttable Creatables

Good Morning!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility I am here with my Candy Cane Layout featuring Printable Cuttable Creatables SVG Files.

Grab a cup of your favorite warm beverage, sit back and enjoy a short read about my layout.

I knew as soon as I seen these files which pictures  I wanted to scrap with them.  I have a lot of Christmas photos from Christmas 2017 that needs scrapped yet.

I started with 2 sheets of AC Precision White Cardstock for my back ground.

After deciding which photos I was going to use, I  then used AC Crimson Cardstock with the AC Precision White to make the SVG file Candy Cane Frames.
The frames come in a rectangle,

 square, circle

and an oval.  I used every shape on my layout but the circle.  I did make some for future layouts though.

I did upsize a couple of the rectangles to fit my pictures on the first page.  Which you could do with any of these.  You could upsize or downsize to fit your needs.  I just love the little holly berries that came with the frames to add the finishing touch on each frame.

The next SVG file I used was the Candy Cane Heart.  I put one in each corner of the layout to balance it out.  I just love these and thought they have an elegance about them.

One last look at my Candy Cane Layout:

I hope my layout helps you scrap your Christmas photos of the past and the future.  Let me know if it inspired you by leaving me a comment.

Happy Holidays!

Fall Wedding Card

Hello Printable Cuttable Creatable Fans! Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I am stopping into the blog today to share a fall wedding card I made for my daughter's best friend.  Her colors were a orangie and peach, navy blue with greenery.  Here is what I came up with.

All my cardstock is American Crafts that I got from 12x12 cardstock shop.  They will supply all your cardstock needs!
I used a Kraft envelope and base with a cream/light tan bottom layer.  Going for a slight country feel.

Using the feather wreath monogram frame svg file, I started my arrangement for the front of my card.  By picking certain flowers from the SVG file Spring Flower Group, I used the wedding colors to Finish the flowers off.

To really set this apart from just a wreath card to a wedding card, I used the Mr. & Mrs. Scrapbook Title SVG and set it in the middle of the wreath.

Every wedding card has to bling!  I finished it off with some orang and blue rhinestones from my stash, around the wreath.

I hope you enjoyed my project.  Leave me a message and let me know what you think!

Candy Corn Cutie

Hello!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I want to share a one page layout with you I did using a couple fun files from Printable Cuttable Creatables.

All my cardstock came from 12 x 12 Cardstock Shop.  I feel they have the best Varity of American Crafts and Bazzill Lines (along with a lot of others) and these are the ones I use for my pieces.

I started with a Bazzill black piece but my camera wants to make it look brownish.   As we talked about on my last tutorial, I used the black as my base, to find a couple other solids, to go with my base and then I  found my pattern papers to match.

PCC has a cute little title called Candy Corn Cutie and it is a FREE file!!!!  I thought this would be another awesome title for my 9 month old granddaughters Halloween photos.  In some of these photos she is learning to crawl so I wanted to add Crawling to the title.  Here is how it came out:

What I did and how I did it was I took the shadow of Candy Corn Cutie and as close as I could, I added the word Crawling.  I made sure to weld Crawling together.  Then I grouped the whole shadow and Crawling together welded them and made the whole thing into a shadow.  Copied it, pasted it and made the second shadow and copied the second shadow , pasted it and made the third shadow.

Going back, I started with the word Crawling, I typed the word again so it could go on top of my shadows and my Candy Corn and there you have it.  Now This was all done on my Cameo 3.  It might be a bit different on your Cricut Maker for I do not have that machine.  I know on the old Cricut it was the same.  If you have any questions, feel free to message me and I will be happy to help.

Moving on,

I thought it needed just a bit more under the pictures so I added the Halloween Treats Banners Borders Set which included this wonderful Candy Corn border.  I think it added the right touch.

Here is the finished product once again.  What do you think?

Simply Boo tiful

Happy, Happy Tuesday Printable Cuttable Creatables.com Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility!  I am bring you this week a real fun a Boo-tiful layout featuring my youngest granddaughter's 9 month Halloween photos.  With Halloween right around the corner, I thought this would be perfect to show off some of our awesome Halloween files!

I was very happy with the layout.  I think I should of made my title a bit bigger but, we all can't hit it out of the park all the time! HAHA!

For the title I used the File Simply Beautiful.  I thought it came out adorable!  Perfect for my pictures!

I'm not usually a fan of cutting my photos in half like this but it just seem to call for it, this time.  I am glad I did it and feel it came out really well.

For the Pumpkins on the layout, I used the file Autumn Harvest and used the gourds to make into the same shaped pumpkins in my photos.  I took and made an extra ghost from the Simply Boo-tiful file and stuck him behind the pumpkin to be appearing as he was peeking around it.

The right side of my layout I used the title Boo-tiful and added Baby Girl to make the sub title.  (we call her baby girl a lot of the time)

My Last pumpkin was just like the last from Autumn Harvest.

If you notice the journaling spot, I want to tell you how I do this.  I always make a journal spot on my layouts where you can see it or not.  If the pictures has to do with my husband and I doing activities with my grandchildren, then I will journal.  If it doesn't, I leave it blank so their mothers can fill in the journaling spot for them since they made the memories with them.  This works well for our family.  Just another idea for you to think about!

Let me know what you think, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Wicked-ly Cute with Printable Cuttable Creatables

Hello Printable Cuttable Creatables fans and Scrapping For Tranquility Fans!  I want to share with you a fun and Wickedly Cute layout I did for my granddaughters 9 month old photos.  Her mother is about all things Halloween and fall.  In fact my granddaughter's name is Oktober!  Teehee.  Here is my layout:

Now, to step back a little, I talked about last month about chatting with you and adding pattern paper to your layouts.    Here is a prime example.

I looked at my photos and decided on the colors I was using for my paper piecings and my background paper.  Once I had my background paper chosen, I pick anywhere from 2 to 3 other solids in case I want to make mats or need them for highlights as in edging ect.  That will be my color pallet.  Here I chose Green, Purple and orange.  Once I had that main color pallet in my solids I pick one or 2 pattern papers in that color family.  Most of the time only one pattern paper will do but I always choose 2 just in case.

That is when I start playing with my cardstock and pictures to decide my layout and how I want it.  My layout above is a fall back layout I use for a lot of my photos.  I start with a hilly ground (which it doesn't have to be green, use your imagination!)  Then I use my pattern cardstock to go up from the solid about 1 1/2 inches more.  A lot of the time my background paper is not a solid but a small print to set the layout off.  For Example, polka dots, flowers, ect.   This is a Beautiful purple shade from 12x12 Cardstock Shop.  The best place to get all your solid American Crafts and Bazzill cardstock. The top of the page for the "sky", I chose the polka dots that matched the stripes and the rest of my solids.  I really liked how my prints and solids worked together.

My Pieces I chose from Printable Cuttable Creatables was the Cute Witch and Friends Halloween SVG Set.  It is just darling.  I made everything in the set but 3 pumpkins.  I really thought it said everything I wanted it to say for my photos.

The Vampire bat and moon is just so realistic looking but cute at the same time along with the cat and cauldron.

Mr Cat could be made to look scary or just as cute as  can be.  I Love the bubbles and steam coming out of the pot!  Now how fun is that?

I just loved the spider and web and even if you are not a huge fan of spiders, she is so cute, you can't pass her up!

Now,  this little witch...... she is the most darling little witch I have ever seen!  Besides my granddaughter!  LOL

This title is so adorable and I could of thought of a million and one things to do with it.  I just liked the way it was and used it.

I hope you enjoyed this small tutorial on how to use your pattern paper and my layout.  Leave me a message I would love to hear from you and your thoughts.  Stop by my blog for I will be having some giveaways soon but you have to be a follower!

Fall Wreath made with Printable Cuttable Creatables Cut Files

Happy Labor Day weekend to our American friends and Happy Weekend to our around the world friends!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility, making a fall wreath for my Design Team Post here at Printable Cuttable Creatables.

Here is my project:

I started with a foam wreath form from Dollar Tree.  (Love all the craft supplies they carry now!  It saves me a lot of money!)  Wrapping it in a brown ribbon, I was already liking what it was looking like, it just needed something else,  we decided a second ribbon, but smaller would look better than a single ribbon. I used a gold ribbon from my stash. Wanting to get my pieces made, I made my bow next.

Not having any wired ribbon that matched the colors I wanted on my fall wreath, I had this pretty red with gold sheer ribbon.  I wanted to make it a little fuller to make it feel more like a wired ribbon so I brought out my Bowdabra. I bought this years ago but this was one of those tools that really intimidated me.  Why?  I have no idea since it was so easy to use once I watched their video on their website.  Anyhow, I really loved the fullness I got out of plain non wired ribbon.  What do you think?

Next, I wanted to make my flowers, leaves, acorns, berries and swirls.  I used my Cameo3 to do this.  I used all American Crafts and Bazzill Cardstock from 12x12 Cardstock Shop.  I was not real happy with it being one dimensional.  So I used a flower ball to roll over the petals and leaves to soften the cardstock to make it softer and more shapeable.   This made me be able to make my flowers 2 dimensional and to add flat back pearls for my centers.

Last but not least were the 3 shades of berries.  It added such a nice touch to the spray but it just needed something compared to the flowers.  The pearls I used were Rainbow Mixed Size Pearls by 12x12 Cardstock Shop.

There you have it!  I hope you enjoy just a bit of the Fall decor you can make from Printable Cuttable Creatables!  Make a cup of tea, Coffee, hot chocolate and sit back and browse the site and find what files can make just the right decor for your fall decorating.
