Remembering The Fur baby In your Life

Good Morning Printable Cuttable Creatable Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility wanting to bring to you some really fun frames for your fur babies.  Kristin, Did an awesome job on these and I see myself using these over and over.  Here is what I made with them:

This is my Doggie Stormy.  We lost him to bone cancer, April of 2022.  He was my companion, my best friend.  I been wanting to make an album of him so when Creative Memories recently came out with a pawprint coverlet, I knew it was time.  It has been hard and not without tears but here is one of the fun ones.

If you notice, these adorable frames have pawprints all the way around the Paw Print Frames.  I took cardstock from 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop in different colors of Encore Textured Cardstock.  Then using my Silhouette Cameo 3 I cut out the frames.  I will tell you to 2X the cut or make your pressure a little harder for I had to punch out every foot print.  My own fault for not thinking ahead.  lol

+
Next, I was able to cut the shape of my photos by  again using my cameo but if you do not have an electric machine and if you have the cutting system from Creative Memories, That is a huge help.

Last but not least I found this beautiful dog saying on the internet that I typed up in Microsoft Word and that is how I received my title from my page.  I made my title out of a font I had in my Sure Cuts A lot Stash of fonts.

Here is one last look at my full page:

The files I used from Printable Cuttable Creatables:

Until next time:

Back to School Layout

Good Morning Printable Cuttable Creatables Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I am here today to show you a layout I did for back to school for my granddaughter , Jaelyn.

I know it is time for school ending but if you are like me, anytime of the year is school layouts.

Following is my completed layout.

The first file I used from PCC was Lil Crayons and Pencils Borders.  I made this to hold part of my title down the middle of my layout.  "First Grade Aug. 2019"  I really liked the way it came out.

I also used the Pencil

and the Glue bottle

from the Cute SVG Bundle.  So many things to choose from in that bundle.  I know I will get a lot of school layouts out of that bundle!

Thanks for joining me on my back to school journey!  Until next time.

Summer BBQ

Hello 12 x 12 Cardstock Shop Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility with another fun collaboration with Dreaming Tree.

This month I decided to use a couple of their free files so you get to see what I did with them and you get to download them for free also and do something fun also!  Here is what I made!

Watermelon Snack Bowl and Watermelon Card. These are not a pair but separate SVG files and I thought what a cute set to put together!  I am making the watermelon cards my Memorial day BBQ invites!  On the table I am going to have the little watermelon bowl.  I just loved the summer feel of these and when I stuffed the bowl with strawberry candies it set it over the top!  Just an FYI, one regular bag of the strawberry candies fit into the bowl!  Oh, we can't not mention that envelope!  It is soooo stinking cute!

Well of course I used all 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop Supplies!

American Crafts Taffy

American Crafts Grass

American Crafts Precision Black

American Crafts Precision White

DoodleBug Candy Stripe Sprinkles Rainbow

Let's take one last look at my project.  Give yourself  some inspiration to put on that fun Summer party this year with these cute party decor or just make the card to brighten someone's day!

While I am here I want to know if you have have any run off glue on your projects?  You know....lets say , the project I just made I was putting the seeds on and got too much glue on the back of the seed and when I put it on all this glue came gushing out!  UGH!  I really hate that! There isn't much you could do but just hope it doesn't show up when it dries.  BUT........There is something you can do!

Here is a spot of glue on my cardstock.  I am going to let it dry.

Taking ONLY white pencil eraser, like these I bought at Hobby Lobby.  I keep one on the end of my pokey tool.

You are going to gently erase away your glue, once it dries.  If you  rub too hard you will wear your cardstock away.  hahaha

Here is my cardstock without glue on it after I "erased it."

I hope that gives you a little help with your papercrafting.

Until Next Month,

Christi

Wedding Card Printable Cuttable Creatables

Good Morning PCC Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

Today I wanted to walk you through making a wedding card I made with PCC cute files wedding groom tuxedo and wedding dress.  I am trying to get stocked up on my cards and with Summer coming it always seems I need wedding cards.  How about you?

Here is how my card ended up looking like:

With Printable Cuttable Creatables files, IT is so easy to make a card and so quick.

I Started with my base made out of Neenah Solar White from
12 X 12 Cardstock shop.  I cut this at 10 in X  7 In.  I then folded on the 10 in side to 5 in.   and used my bone folder to make sure it was good and folded.  Then I turned the fold on the inside.  This is so you have no pealing or cracking in your fold.

In the mean time I made my svg pieces of the Tuxedo and wedding dress.  Using no shed glitter cardstock for the top layer of the dress, I really liked how the dress came out.

I then used a light gray cut at 5.75 in x 6.75 in to tape down on top of my base.  Taking one more layer , I used the turquoise cardstock  to match the tuxedo and cut a piece at 5.50 in x 6.50 in and taped it on top of the gray cardstock.

Using  Wedding Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C. Designs , I stamped a sentiment on the front and wrapped gray and turquoise ribbon , from my stash, around the card.

Again from C.C. Designs Wedding Sentiments stamp set, I stamped this sentiment on the inside and I called it done.

Once again, here is my finished card:

Hope you enjoyed my tutorial and will join me on my socials at

Easter Top Hat

Hello 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree Fans!  Christi Here from Scrapping for Tranquility with another monthly collaboration with 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree.

With Easter Fast approaching I decided to make one of the Favorite Easter files from Dreaming Tree but change up the colors a bit.  I am made the Mad Hatter Treat Box.

The Cardstock I used from 12 X 12 Cardstock shop was:

I plan on filling it with baked goodies for my elderly neighbor for Easter.  I hope she will enjoy it.

Onto my monthly tip.....Last month I showed you how I store my small scraps so now I am going to show you how I store my large scraps.
0

I have a large binder that has plastic cardstock protectors on the inside.  IT only holds 4 large protectors so I have to double/triple/quadruple up my colors.  (sometimes even more.)

My first protector holds anything 6 inches and above and consist of "like colors" pinks, purples and reds.

My second folder holds the "like colors" of blues, turquoises,  and greens.

Third file holds "like colors" of yellows, oranges and browns.

Last file is my hodge podge  and holds my blacks, whites, scraps of glitter (in zip lock baggies) and foil paper (also in zip lock baggies) this is to keep them from getting damaged by each other.  The baggies are 8 X10 or 12 X 12 Baggies so need to cut up the cardstock more.

Last but not least I have my Pattern paper scraps.  Since I mostly scrapbook and do 3D papercrafts, I usually only buy 12 X 12 cardstock and Pattern paper.  (oh, don't get me wrong, I have a whole lot of 6 X 6 pattern paper and 81/2 X 11 paper also but since I don't use it as much, I have just a baggie that keeps their scraps.  LOL)  Anyway, I have an accordion file that I use to  somewhat separate and file my pattern paper.  I have for example, polka dots, plaid, kids, Christmas, Halloween etc, etc.  lol  The trick is finding an  accordion file that fits 12 X 12 paper in length so not to wrinkle it.  I should be better at labeling it but I am so use to it I can go right to what I need.

That is it for this month!   Next month I will take you on a tour of how I store my actually  cardstock and pattern paper supplies.  IF you all want , I could do a craft room tour.  I do not have a large room but It does the trick.

Until next month!
